Referrals
Our Referral Policy
We accept patients on a physician referral basis only. We are unable to accepts patients on a walk-in basis, or provide patient evaluations without a referral from a primary care physician or a specialist. This policy insures that the patient's referring physician has acquired pre-authorization for the referral, avoiding unnecessary patient charges. In some circumstances, we may be able to accept referrals from nurse practitioners, chiropractors, and naturopaths.
Appointments
Medford Neurological and Spine Clinic strives for patient satisfaction. in order to maximize patient satisfaction and care, it is best to have all physician reports, radiological studies, and diagnostic test results available at the time of the consultation. We encourage our patients to request that the referring physician send reports, films and test results to us, prior to a consultation. We also ask that you bring a list of all your current medications, including instructions for taking them.
We do our best to see patients promptly. However, due to the nature of our specialty, occasional emergencies cause unavoidable delays in the doctor's schedule. Should your appointment be delayed, we will strive to keep you informed and we will try to make your wait as short as possible.
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please give us 24 hours notice, which will enable us to offer that time to another person.
We welcome telephone calls for questions or information and look forward to speaking with you at any time.
