![]() Kevin J. Sullivan, M.D., FAANPhysician: Neurologist
Dr. Sullivan graduated from the University of Portland with a Bachelor of Science Degree in June 1963. He received his medical degree at the University of Oregon Medical School in June 1967. He served as a rotating Intern at San Bernardino County General Hospital from June 1967 through June 1968, followed by a Residency in neurology at the University of Colorado Medical Center from July 1968 through June 1971. Following completion of his Residency he served in the United States Army as Staff Neurologist and Assistant Chief of Neurology at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii. During this time he held a faculty appointment at the University of Hawaii School of Medicine as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine. After his Honorable Discharge from the service in September 1974, he returned to Oregon where he joined the Medford Neurological & Spine Clinic. In June 1996 he was acknowledged by his peers and awarded Fellowship in the American Academy of Neurology. He is a member of several professional societies including the American Geriatric Society and the Movement Disorder Society. He served as a Consultant in Neurology for the Veterans Administration as well as the Social Security Administration. For many years he was the Director of the Southern Oregon Muscular Dystrophy Clinic. He is the immediate past President of the Medical Staff at Rogue Valley Medical Center, and is also on the staff at Providence Medford Medical Center and Ashland Community Hospital. Dr. Sullivan, is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology. During his time away from the clinic, he and his family enjoy many outdoor activities including camping, scuba diving, 4-wheeling, and snowmobiling.
